Conditions for licensing to practice specialized testing

Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:

Currently, the degree used to obtain a practice license with a specialized scope is specified in Point c, Clause 1, Article 130 of Decree No. 96/2023/ND-CP dated December 30, 2023 of the Government. Thus, your master's degree must meet the condition of being one of the following degrees to be granted a practice license with a specialized scope:

- Diploma of resident physician as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 128 of this Decree;

- Level I specialized diploma as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 128 of this Decree;

- Level II specialized diploma as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 128 of this Decree;

- Master's degree in the field of medical examination and treatment;

- Doctorate in medical examination and treatment.
