Admission conditions for 6th grade students to a 'hot' school in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City

According to the primary enrollment plan of Tan Binh district, in the 2025-2026 school year, Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School, a national standard school implementing a high-quality, advanced, integrated program, organizes enrollment for English-enhanced and integrated English classes.

Specifically, Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School recruits 105 6th grade students for the integrated English program (3 classes) and 245 students for the enhanced English program (7 classes).

Admission requirements: Students must complete primary school at public primary schools in Tan Binh district in the 2024-2025 school year and have excellenteducational results in grade 5.

English proficiency requirements for admission to grade 6 of the integrated English program: Students must meet the educational outcome requirements and be considered in order of priority.

1. Students complete primary school with an integrated English program.
2. Students with English proficiency must meet one of the following conditions:

• According to the Pearson English system: Students must have a PEIC (PTE Young Learners) certificate at Quickmarch level (Pass - minimum number of stars 3/5 stars).
• According to the Cambridge English system: Students must have a Flyers certificate (minimum number of shields 12/15 shields).
• According to the ETS system: Students must have a TOEFL Primary Level 2 certificate with a minimum of 3/4 badges (TOEFL Primary, Step 2, 3 badges).
• Other international certificates are from level A2 and above.

English proficiency requirements for admission to grade 6 English enhancement course

Students who meet the educational outcome and English proficiency requirements must meet one of the following conditions:

• According to the Pearson English system: Students must have a PEIC (PTE Young Learners) certificate at Quickmarch level (Pass - minimum number of stars 3/5 stars).
• According to the Cambridge English system: Students must have a Flyers certificate (minimum number of shields 12/15 shields).
• According to the ETS system: Students must have a TOEFL Primary level 2 certificate with a minimum of 3/4 badges (TOEFL Primary, Step 2, 3 badges).
• Other international certificates are from level A2 and above.

Aptitude conditions (if any): Students with individual awards in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years in the following areas: Information Technology; sports; arts ( music /fine arts); Team activities... Note: Certificates of merit and certificates are issued by the Ministry, Department, Department of Education and Training or by organizations/units in coordination with the education sector.

From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 19, parents of students confirm the enrollment target and the area they want to submit their application to on the system http://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn .

From 26 to 17:00 on May 29, parents of students complete the application form on the electronic information page https://thcsmacdinhchitb.hcm.edu.vn , in the Admissions Information section, select Grade 6 Admissions (parents of students view the instruction file and prepare evidence before applying).

On June 4, the Tan Binh District Admissions Council announced the list of students admitted to grade 6 at Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School, and simultaneously posted it on the website http://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn . The list of admitted students is posted on the school's information board and on the electronic information portal https://thcsmacdinhchitb.hcm.edu.vn .
