Suspend circulation and recall 9 types of cosmetics of Linh Anh Company nationwide - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

The Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ) has just sent a document to the Department of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities announcing the suspension of circulation and recall of 9 cosmetic products belonging to Linh Anh General Trading & Service Company Limited, located at Zone 5, Thanh Ba town, Thanh Ba district, Phu Tho province (current address: No. 2, Lane 318, Dao Gia Street, Zone 5, Thanh Ba town, Thanh Ba district, Phu Tho province), nationwide.

The document stated that the decision was made based on the inspection results from the report of the Phu Tho Provincial Department of Health . The products were recalled because their formulas were not in accordance with the published records, and their labels stated uses inconsistent with the published records.

Of which, 2 products were recalled because the cosmetic products in circulation had formulas that were not consistent with the published records and the labels stating the uses were not consistent with the published records: Zunya Shiny Faccial Cleanser (Receipt of Declaration Form 198234/23/CBMP-QLD issued on March 24, 2023) and Zun Ya Collagen 3D Perfect Whitening Cream Make Up (Receipt of Declaration Form 162638/21/CBMP-QLD issued on December 3, 2021).

The remaining seven products were recalled due to their labels stating uses that were inconsistent with the declaration records, including: Zun Ya Nano Collagen 3D Whitening Day Cream SPF50+++ (Receipt of Declaration No. 131891/20/CBMP-QLD issued on August 28, 2020); Zun Ya Serum Nano Collagen 3D Spot Whitening (Receipt of Declaration No. 28/8/2020); Zunya Cleansing Water (Receipt of Declaration No. 28/8/2020); Zunya Stem Cell Serum (Receipt of Declaration No. 238530/24/CBMP-QLD issued on March 12, 2024); Zunya Pure Clean Peeling Gel (Receipt of Declaration No. 238530/24/CBMP-QLD issued on March 12, 2024); Zunya Essence Suncream SPF 50+/PA +++ UVA/UVB Protection (Receipt of Declaration No. 212911/23/CBMP-QLD issued on September 27, 2023); Sakenzin White Day Cream (Receipt of Declaration No. CBMP issued on August 14, 2023).

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Department of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop selling and using the above 9 products and return them to the product suppliers.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests to recall the above-mentioned violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; and handle violating units according to current regulations.

Regarding Linh Anh General Trading & Service Company Limited, the Drug Administration requires sending recall notices to distributors and users of the 9 above-mentioned products; receiving returned products from business establishments and recalling all products that do not meet regulations. In particular, recalling and destroying the products for 2 products Zunya Shiny Faccial Cleanser and Zun Ya Collagen 3D Perfect Whitening Cream Make Up.

The remaining 7 products, namely Zun Ya Nano Collagen 3D Whitening Day Cream SPF50+++, Zun Ya Serum Nano Collagen 3D Spot Whitening, Zunya Cleansing Water, Zunya Stem Cell Serum, Zunya Pure Clean Peeling Gel, Zunya Essence Suncream SPF 50+/PA+++ UVA/UVB Protection, Sakenzin White Day Cream, will receive returned products from businesses and recall all products that do not meet regulations.

In case the infringing element cannot be removed (the infringing label cannot be separated from the goods), the product must be destroyed according to the provisions of Clause 54, Article 2 of Decree No. 126/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021; at the same time, a recall report of the above 9 products must be sent to the Department of Drug Administration before May 20, 2025.

Regarding the Department of Health of Phu Tho province, the Drug Administration requested to supervise Linh Anh General Trading & Service Company Limited in recalling the above 9 products that do not meet regulations; report the supervision results to the Drug Administration before May 30, 2025./.
