Collecting over 254 billion VND in fees for using infrastructure in border gate areas - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- According to statistics from the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, in the first 4 months of 2025, the Tax Department and the Border Gate Management Center, the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone collected over 254.1 billion VND.   Fees for using infrastructure works, service works, and public utilities in border gate areas, increased by 21% compared to the same period in 2024.

Of which, the fee collected for vehicles entering and leaving the border gate reached 208.1 billion VND, an increase of 18.3%; the fee collected for vehicles transporting goods for transfer reached 46 billion VND, an increase of 34.8% over the same period in 2024.

It is known that since the beginning of 2025, although the volume of vehicles carrying imported and exported goods through border gates in the province has tended to increase, the provincial authorities, customs forces, and border guards have increased customs clearance, creating favorable conditions for vehicles carrying goods, especially vehicles carrying agricultural products for export. At the same time, relevant departments and branches of the province have also increased exchanges and discussions with Chinese agencies to extend customs clearance time by 2-3 hours/day, thereby improving customs clearance efficiency.

In addition, since 2024, Lang Son province has implemented a pilot project to build a smart border gate applying a new form of import and export goods delivery based on the application of modern science and technology to import and export procedures; expanding specialized roads for transporting goods in the area of ​​landmarks 1119-1120 and the area of ​​landmarks 1088/2-1089; investing in infrastructure and expanding wharves in the border gate area. Thereby, the infrastructure and wharves in the border gate area meet the needs of import and export enterprises.
