Dinh Lap: Forest fire risk at extremely dangerous level - Lang Son Newspaper

- According to information from Dinh Lap District Forest Protection Department,   Since March 21, dry weather and strong winds have increased the risk of forest fires in the district to an extremely dangerous level (level 5), with all types of forests at risk of widespread fires.

According to Mr. Pham Cong Phong, Head of the Dinh Lap District Forest Protection Department, since the beginning of 2025, there have been no forest fires in the district. However, with the risk of forest fires at the highest level, the District Forest Protection Department has requested the People's Committees of communes and towns in the district to propagate and request people to absolutely not burn and treat the ground cover to minimize the risk of forest fires.

It is known that currently, the risk of forest fires in the remaining districts and cities is at level 2 to level 4. Therefore, forest owners in the area need to be extremely careful in burning and clearing vegetation.
