As soon as the Fansipan cable car cabin door opened, visitors saw the sky and earth blending into one, with billowing clouds and cool winds blowing before their eyes. Fansipan Peak is a place where the sunlight is brighter than anywhere else on the S-shaped strip of land, but strangely no one wants to “escape”. Perhaps because nowhere else can they freely bask in the golden sunshine and enjoy the coolness of the temperature always below 20 degrees Celsius that nature has always favored this place with.

If you come to Fansipan on a cloudy day, you will feel like you are walking in a fairyland, with the green patches of Hoang Lien mountains and forests hidden in the mist and clouds. Don't forget to bring a light jacket at this time, because the temperature can drop below 15 degrees Celsius.

After conquering Fansipan peak, don't forget to take the time to walk along the stone paths along the mountain, winding around the hundreds of years old rhododendron roots, to admire the Fansipan spiritual complex, with structures that resemble ancient Vietnamese pagodas from the 15th-16th centuries. Mixed in with the ringing bells, the hazy clouds, the solemn Amitabha Buddha statue, the compassionate Avalokitesvara statue hidden in the vast forest, that magical serenity turns the Fansipan summer into a unique experience.

Coming to Fansipan is also an opportunity for everyone to slow down, soothe the tired body and soul by immersing themselves in nature. Walking among the ancient trees at an altitude of more than 3,000 m, which used to seem far away for many people because of the rugged mountain terrain, is now easier than ever when the rhododendron flower viewing path was built on the top of Fansipan.
Slowly walking on the winding path about 60m long, weaving through the hundreds of years old rhododendrons, letting the cool mist and clouds flow over your skin and listening to the chirping of birds and insects, visitors will be ecstatic in the peace and tranquility in the arms of Mother Nature.

In particular, here, visitors will be able to admire rhododendrons, the flower known as the “Queen of the Northwest mountains and forests” at a closer distance than ever before. The rhododendron population here is mainly rough-branch rhododendrons (azaleas in the local dialect) and rhododendrons, blooming in brilliant red and yellow colors as if wanting to embroider delicate patches on the deep green forest floor.

In summer, every corner of Fansipan appears like a film with the vivid colors of the golden sunlight adorning the hillsides, of thousands of flowers blooming brightly and the joy on the rosy cheeks and brocade skirts of the ethnic minorities in the highlands.

Right at the largest rose valley in Vietnam at the Fansipan cable car station, millions of climbing roses and imported roses are blooming. The flowers form gates and arches, inviting visitors to step in.
To show gratitude to visitors to Sa Pa and Fansipan this time, as well as to contribute to spreading the beauty of Sa Pa flower season, Sun World Fansipan Legend will organize a rose festival that will last until the end of summer. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the rose valley to the central streets of Sa Pa town, a street parade will take place, bringing cultural performances of ethnic minorities in the highlands and trucks full of roses.
The cultural colors of the ethnic minorities in the highlands of Sa Pa are the "intoxicating" that captivates many tourists to this place. However, throughout the flow of time, it is difficult to keep that beauty intact in its most rustic form. And Fansipan, the mountain that has stood there for millions of years, is perhaps the only "witness" of the folk cultural sedimentary deposits that have been formed, preserved and developed for thousands of years.
That is why, now at the cable car station, there is a Northwest Cultural Space, like a small village at the foot of the mountain, where the cultural beauty and daily life of 5 ethnic minorities in Sa Pa including H'Mong, Tay, Giay, Xa Pho, and Dao Do are revived in the most authentic and rustic way.

The lively music from the bamboo dance, to the intoxication of the newly brewed rice wine, the charm in the eyes and smiling lips, and the clouds printed on the brocade skirts, are perhaps the things that people will forever remember about this beautiful little village.
The Northwest cultural space is also the reason why anyone who comes to Sa Pa, to Fansipan this summer wants to stay longer, not only to enjoy the coolness of the high mountains covered in clouds, but also to wander in the "small village", chat with the simple, rustic ethnic people, get drunk on a bit of the flavor of highland cuisine and then... "want to stay here and not want to go back".
