Diva Hong Nhung: 'After going through the incident, I became a different person'

"I'm afraid that if people knew I had a terminal illness, they would think that singing was enough because I was sick. I don't want those kinds of comments. Music needs objectivity. After going through this incident, I became a different person, and my singing style is also different. My voice now has more gratitude. My voice is probably better now," the singer said. When she was sick, she cherished the days she was alive even more.

At first after treatment, she had difficulty singing high notes. After a while, diva gradually regaining form. Hong Nhung believes that vocal technique is only secondary. What is important is what the artist conveys in his voice and work.

On this occasion, the diva also talked about the process of making a special music project. MV Wondering brings a change in both genre and performance style of Hong Nhung. My nephew Lope Pham, artist Trung Tran and I wrote the lyrics for this song together in a familiar, lively language. It was a completely new experience because I am used to classical ballads," the diva said.
