DNP Holding reveals growth pillars in 2025

DNVN - On April 25 in Dong Nai, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of DNP Holding Joint Stock Company approved the 2025 business plan with a consolidated revenue target of VND 9,673 billion, identifying one of the strategic tasks as focusing on water infrastructure projects in the Mekong Delta.

2024 is considered a successful year for DNP Holding in maintaining stable performance and positive growth in the context of many economic fluctuations. The enterprise has consistently pursued the strategy of strengthening core competencies, optimizing operational efficiency and selective investment.

DNP recorded consolidated net revenue of VND8,898 billion, up 17.4% year-on-year. Pre-tax profit reached VND229 billion, up 21.2% compared to 2023. Notably, excluding the effects of post-merger accounting consolidation, actual profit reached VND417 billion, up 4.3%. Consolidated profit after tax reached VND192 billion, up 50% year-on-year. Core business segments such as clean water, environment, water ecosystem and household appliances continue to play the role of main growth drivers.

At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 25, DNP Holding announced its consolidated revenue target for 2025 of VND 9,673 billion, of which the clean water segment continues to be one of the strategic pillars with a target revenue of VND 1,496 billion.

The focus of investment in 2025 is on two inter-provincial clean water projects in the Mekong Delta region, aiming to solve the problem of water shortage, subsidence and saltwater intrusion which are directly threatening the economic development and social stability of the region. In particular, the Region 1 project - supplying raw water to the provinces of Tien Giang, Long An, Ben Tre - with a total design capacity of 600,000 m³/day and night. The project was approved by the Prime Minister for local adjustment in the Mekong Delta water supply planning from March 2021 and integrated into the Mekong Delta Regional Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved in February 2022, and is expected to be officially started by DNP Water in the third quarter of 2025.

At the end of 2024, DNP Water also proposed a project with a similar scale and solution, the Region 2 Project "Raw water pumping station in the Southwest of Hau River and transmission pipeline system" to supply raw water to the three provinces of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu - Soc Trang. The project has a total investment of 4,800 billion VND in phase 1. Of which, the direct investment of the enterprise is 3,300 billion VND, the connection system part is invested by the provincial budget is 1,500 billion VND. The capacity of phase I is 300,000 m3/day and night, meeting the needs of clean water for daily life and production for the three provinces until 2037. The capacity of phase 2 is 600,000 m3/day and night and the reserve expansion is up to 1,000,000 m3/day and night.

Regarding progress, phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2028, with the wholesale price of raw water expected to start in the first year at only VND 3,500/m3.

In 2025, DNP Holding will continue to leverage the power of its ecosystem to create competitive advantages from the water, infrastructure plastics to household appliances and construction materials industries. The company will promote the application of technology throughout the entire operational chain, from factory production to customer service, while investing in modern equipment and cooperating with international partners to shorten the technology transfer cycle. Areas with export strengths such as Inochi and water supplies will be prioritized for international market expansion. At the same time, DNP will continue to invest in developing legacy human resources, applying modern governance models and integrating ESG factors, aiming for a lean, efficient and sustainable business model.

DNP Holding also proactively cooperated with Dong Nai province in the plan to relocate production activities from Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park in 2026, in accordance with the policy of converting old industrial parks into modern urban - service areas. The enterprise considers this as the time to comprehensively restructure the production - operation model at a new location with more modern infrastructure, in line with the orientation of expanding and improving production capacity in the next phase.
