Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung kindly inquired about the health and life of General Le Van Dung and his family; reported on some highlights of the country's situation, military and defense tasks, Party work, and political work in the entire army.

Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung said that towards the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the entire army has been actively organizing many activities of profound political and social significance, notably training and joint practice in preparation for the rally, parade and march in the capital Hanoi .

Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung affirmed that in any circumstances, our Army is always absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, maintaining and promoting the nature and tradition of Uncle Ho's Army. Officers and soldiers of the entire army always respect, inherit and promote the experiences and great contributions of previous generations of leaders and commanders, of which General Le Van Dung is one of the typical examples.

Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung expressed his deep gratitude for General Le Van Dung's contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation and the building of the Army. The Deputy Chief of the General Staff wished the General and his family good health and happiness, and continued to make contributions, give advice, and share experiences with leaders of the General Staff and cadres at all levels, helping the General Staff as well as agencies and units in the entire army to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the people.

General Le Van Dung was moved by the sentiments of the officers and soldiers of the General Staff; at the same time, he expressed his absolute trust in the leadership of the Party, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff.

The General hopes that today's generation of officers and soldiers will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and unity, firmly maintain the Party's ideological position in the Army; constantly improve the quality of training, be ready for combat, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
