The 2025 Hanoi City Truong Sa Working Group successfully completed its mission

Presenting the results of the working trip of the Hanoi City Delegation to visit and encourage the soldiers and people of Truong Sa archipelago and DK-I Platform in 2025, Major General Nguyen Dinh Luu, Deputy Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, Permanent Deputy Head of the working delegation, said that with careful and thorough preparation, the trip from May 6 to May 14, 2025 was a great success, achieving the goals and requirements, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles.

The gifts from the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi Capital have practical meaning, suitable for life, activities and work, and were directly presented by the Delegation to cadres, soldiers and people of Truong Sa.

The visit helped the members of the Delegation gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands; the difficulties that the people, officers, soldiers, and forces on duty on the islands and platforms are striving to overcome day and night to protect the sovereignty of the sea, islands, and sacred continental shelf of the Fatherland. The visit gave each member of the Delegation a vivid practical lesson about the tradition of steadfastness, heroism, indomitability, and not retreating in the face of any difficulties and hardships of the nation and the heroic Vietnam People's Navy; continuing to strengthen confidence and enhance responsibility in building and protecting the sovereignty over the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Throughout the working trip, the delegation conducted meaningful and practical activities towards Truong Sa. In particular, the delegation organized an auction of paintings and donated 512 million VND to support Truong Sa archipelago; presented cadres, soldiers and people with equipment for daily life and work, gifts from the capital worth nearly 5 billion VND; organized a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Multi-purpose Cultural House on Da Dong C Island - a project invested and built by Hanoi City in 2023.

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee Hoang Trong Quyet emphasized that the working trip of the Hanoi City Delegation had excellently completed the tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee, leaving many good impressions in the hearts of each member of the working delegation.

On behalf of the delegation, comrade Hoang Trong Quyet congratulated the groups and individuals who were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee for their excellent completion of the mission.

At the same time, Comrade Hoang Trong Quyet thanked the attention and facilitation of the Vietnam Navy, directly by Comrade Rear Admiral Ho Thanh Hoan, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs, Head of Working Group No. 19; the Capital Command, departments, branches, districts and towns of the city and related forces for organizing activities and helping the delegation during the trip, contributing to the overall success of the working group.

Recognizing the good results of the working trip, the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to many collectives and individuals with achievements in the visit to encourage soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district, officers and soldiers of DK1 Platform in 2025.
