Since the beginning of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly , the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has fully participated in all meetings at the National Assembly House, Dien Hong Hall and group discussions with 20 direct opinions on the floor.

Specifically, at the first session of the 7th Session (taking place from May 20 to June 9), delegates of the National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai province directly participated in 12 rounds of comments and questioned the State Auditor General.

The speeches of the National Assembly deputies of Lao Cai province focused on: Practicing thrift and fighting waste; National target program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030; building draft laws; developing special mechanisms for Nghe An province and Da Nang city...

Also in the first session, the provincial National Assembly delegates proposed that the National Assembly, the Government and ministries and branches pay attention to and promptly implement investment projects such as: Planning the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line; the project to connect the wide-gauge railway line from Lao Cai Station (Vietnam) to Ha Khau Bac Station (Ha Khau district, Hong Ha prefecture, Yunnan province, China); and proposed to soon invest in upgrading and expanding the road surface of the Yen Bai - Lao Cai section of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway to a scale of 4 lanes.

During the second session of the Session (taking place from June 17 to present), the Provincial National Assembly Delegation fully participated in the direct working sessions at the National Assembly House and the Provincial National Assembly deputies participated in giving 8 speeches at the National Assembly forums, including 2 speeches at Dien Hong Hall and 6 speeches at the discussion group.

The issues discussed by the provincial National Assembly deputies are the draft Law on Value Added Tax (amended); Law on Notarization; Law on Trade Unions (amended); Law on Cultural Heritage (amended); Law on People's Air Defense; Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue; Law on Geology and Minerals. In addition, it also proposes solutions to existing problems and inadequacies in the education and training of students and workers in ethnic minority areas.
