Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters in Van Ho district

On September 30, the delegation of the National Assembly of Son La province, including comrades: Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Quang Van Huong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Lo Viet Phuong, Deputy Head of the People's Aspirations Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Hoang Thi Doi, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La province; Cha A Cua, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vi Duc Tho, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, met with voters before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Van Ho district.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

At the conference, voters of Van Ho district proposed that all levels and sectors consider increasing administrative penalties for violations of child marriage to educate and deter, contributing to reducing violations of child marriage; consider adjusting regulations on policies for teachers; support the construction of public housing for teachers; increase allowances and issue separate allowances for village health workers.

At the meeting with voters, the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the results of the Delegation's activities between the two sessions of the National Assembly; announced the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly. At the same time, he received voters' opinions and recommendations to be transferred to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Huu Dong requested Van Ho district to focus on directing the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction; socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; doing well in social security, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and temporary housing elimination; improving the effectiveness of administrative reform and digital transformation. Pay attention to the disbursement of public investment capital; site clearance to implement the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway Project, the section in Son La province; prepare well for the organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term. Strengthen the grassroots political system, transform key areas with complex security and order issues and fight against drugs in the area; firmly protect sovereignty and border security.

On this occasion, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 30 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Van Ho district.
