Organized annually by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine, Top 50 CSA was established to honor businesses with exemplary sustainable business strategies, spreading spirit and inspiring the community. The award is evaluated based on strict ESG (Environment - Society - Governance) criteria and the evaluation process of the professional council.
By applying sustainable thinking to business with practical solutions, Home Credit has gradually contributed to building a model of sustainable development in the financial sector in Vietnam. These efforts are concretized through Home Credit's Sustainability Reports, which have been published annually since 2020. It is expected that the latest edition of the 2024 Sustainability Report will be published in August.
Mr. Jakub Kudrna - Business Strategy Director and Chairman of ESG Steering Committee at Home Credit Vietnam affirmed: “For us, ESG is not just a commitment on paper, but a consistent action, demonstrated through strategic orientation, resource allocation and close monitoring of the executive team in every decision. The award is a worthy recognition for the tireless efforts of the Home Credit Vietnam team, and at the same time a motivation for us to continue promoting our achievements”.
Since ESG is still a relatively new concept in developing markets, Home Credit has pioneered the application of ESG in all business and management activities with the orientation of standardization from the group level to countries like Vietnam. Thanks to this consistent foundation and strategy, during 17 years of operation, Home Credit has deployed and implemented practical and useful initiatives across many fields.
Notably, there is a plan to promote cooperation with partners providing electric vehicles such as VinFast , thereby launching incentive programs to promote green consumption, while implementing greenhouse gas (GHG) emission measurement according to European standards, aiming to reduce emissions in business operations.
In addition, Home Credit is also committed to accompanying the community to improve the quality of life with many practical solutions. In 2024, the "Home for Life" project, which accompanies women to take control of their lives through providing start-up capital and skills training, has been present in Thanh Hoa and Dien Bien . Through the program, more than 850 disadvantaged women have been trained in financial knowledge, contributing to improving the livelihoods of hundreds of local households.
