According to a report by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), in the first 9 months of 2025, cashless payment activities maintained strong growth momentum with total transactions increasing by 43.3% in quantity and 24.2% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
Taking place nationwide from now until the end of the first quarter of 2026, the promotion program "Touch now - Deal passionately" coincides with peak shopping occasions such as: Black Friday, Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year. This is a large promotion program with a total budget of more than 14 billion VND, to meet the increasing spending needs of customers and encourage people to enjoy attractive incentives when paying without cash. NAPAS and Mastercard cardholders will enjoy incentives of 15% discount or a certain amount discount, up to 200,000 VND for each transaction depending on the store.
In particular, the promotion program not only takes place in large shopping centers but also spreads to groups of stores in the fields of supermarkets, food services, pharmacies, technology and retail with a list of more than 5,500 points of sale of major brands in the market such as: AEON Citimart, AEON Mall ( Binh Duong , Binh Tan, Ha Dong, Hai Phong, Hue, Long Bien, Tan Phu), FamilyMart, FPT Shop, Gong Cha, Haidilao, McDonald's, Ministop, TH true mart, etc.
This is the third consecutive year that NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo have joined forces to launch a nationwide incentive program aimed at stimulating shopping and promoting the growth of contactless payment transactions. At the same time, this year NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo continue to devote themselves to the journey of "Touching and Sharing, Giving Hope" - a social security program aimed at caring for and protecting the health of Vietnamese women. The program aims to provide free cancer screening opportunities for 2,010 women in difficult circumstances, from many localities struggling to make a living in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi . This activity demonstrates the commitment to social responsibility of NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo in raising public awareness of health care, spreading the spirit of companionship and sharing with disadvantaged women in society.
