A survey of some dealers shows that the construction paint market has hundreds of companies producing different types of paint, but in general, they are divided into segments from popular to high-end. In which, the high-end segment includes paint manufacturers from Japan, the US, and Europe such as: Akzo Nobel, Nippon, Jotun.

The mid-range segment comes from brands like Oranges, TOA, SeaMaster… the mid-range segment comes from brands like Kova, Tison… the rest are private companies serving low-income customers. Since the beginning of October, construction paint consumption has increased by 15-20% compared to other months of the year, but construction paint manufacturers have not increased their selling prices.

Currently, the price of Dulux brand anti-alkali primer ranges from 917,000 - 3.1 million VND/5 - 18 liter barrel, anti-fouling paint is about 1 million VND/5 liter can, interior paint is 1.6 - 2.9 million VND/18 liter barrel.

Poor households often choose Jotun paint. Currently, Jotun's Waterguard exterior paint costs from 1.4 to 4.5 million VND/6-20 kg barrel, and interior paint for indoor use costs from 4 to 6 million VND/15 liter barrel...
