To enhance the promotion of Vietnamese enterprises’ products participating in the Fair, the Trade Promotion Agency coordinated with the Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in France to invite quality enterprises with high demand for the displayed products of Vietnamese enterprises to visit and trade at the Fair. On the very first day of the Fair, the booths of Vietnamese enterprises attracted a large number of international visitors to visit, learn and trade.

The SIAL Paris International Food Industry Fair was first held in 1964 within the framework of the International Food Week in Paris, France with the participation of experts, manufacturers in the food industry and culinary enthusiasts from 26 countries. After more than 50 years of establishment and development, the SIAL Paris International Food Industry Fair has become a highly anticipated event for businesses, individuals and organizations operating in the food, catering and hotel sectors. The event is held every two years in even-numbered years at the Paris Nord VillePinte Convention Center, France with a total area of up to 250,000 m2, with the participation of more than 7,000 businesses and exhibitors from more than 120 countries, attracting more than 300,000 visitors from more than 190 countries to visit and work.

The Vietnamese delegation attending the Sial Paris 2024 International Food Industry Fair is one of the important events in the series of activities under the Program to build a brand strategy for the Vietnamese food industry. The main objective of the program is to build and promote a common, unified image for the Vietnamese food industry in the international market, increase awareness and recognition on an international scale of Vietnamese food, build prestige in food quality and value, and optimize added value for food production and processing in Vietnam.
In order to introduce the overall dynamic development of the Vietnamese food industry, and at the same time create favorable conditions for businesses to access, expand and develop domestic and foreign consumption markets through connecting with wholesale and retail distribution systems, import partners and prospective investors, from November 13 to 16, 2024, the Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2024 - Vietnam Foodexpo 2024, the largest international trade promotion event in the field of food, agricultural and aquatic products in Vietnam, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and assigned by the Trade Promotion Agency to coordinate with domestic and international partners, will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC, Ho Chi Minh City).
Vietnam Foodexpo 2024 is a large-scale event with over 500 booths of nearly 400 enterprises from more than 30 provinces and cities of Vietnam and nearly 20 countries/territories. The exhibition is a major demonstration of the Vietnamese food industry, honoring the national brand value of Vietnamese food, with the participation of leading manufacturers and exporters, meeting the world's strict standards for food and beverages, contributing to bringing Vietnamese food to the most demanding markets in the world.
