The fact that overseas Vietnamese in Canada supported 2 billion VND for a primary school in Yen Bai is a testament to the spirit of mutual love of the overseas Vietnamese community. This support can be used to improve facilities, purchase learning equipment, or support educational activities of the school. Such support activities not only help improve the quality of education in the locality but also demonstrate the attachment of overseas Vietnamese to their homeland. It also encourages the younger generations to study and develop, contributing to the overall development of the country. Previously, an overseas Vietnamese businessman in Canada and many overseas Vietnamese businessmen in other countries performed a meaningful act by donating 22 solidarity houses to poor people in Dien Bien province, Vietnam. Each house was solidly built, aiming to provide stable housing and improve the lives of disadvantaged households in the area. This house donation program not only demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility of the overseas Vietnamese community but also contributes to promoting local socio -economic development. The spacious houses will help people feel more secure in their lives and have the motivation to escape poverty. This is one of the activities considered practical, aiming to support people in difficult circumstances, while building a bridge between the overseas Vietnamese community and the homeland. This action received support and appreciation from the locality and social organizations./.Bich Huong
