On May 30 in Ha Long City, Ha Long University in collaboration with the Institute of South Asian, West Asian and African Studies (under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences ) organized an international conference on “Developing Quang Ninh into one of the leading Muslim-friendly tourist destinations in Vietnam”.
Attending the workshop were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh and 200 domestic and international delegates are ambassadors of Muslim countries in Vietnam, international organizations, experts, scientists, and businesses in many fields related to Halal, including Cholimex Food.
With more than 2 billion Muslims worldwide , the demand for travel, relaxation and exploration of the Muslim community is increasing. As one of the key tourism destinations in Vietnam, Quang Ninh province identifies that correctly identifying trends, seizing opportunities and building a methodical approach strategy are decisive factors to attract more strongly, moving towards building a destination brand with the Halal tourist market.
