Tam Coc rice fields, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province is honored as one of the 5 most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam. This year, to attract tourists and promote the image of Ninh Binh tourism , the Ninh Binh tourism industry has created a painting "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" covering an area of over 9,500 square meters on the poetic Tam Coc rice fields.
The painting vividly depicts a pair of carp with healthy bodies playing with the moonlight using rice plants to pray for a year of peace, favorable weather, and bountiful harvests. To create the painting, farmers from Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district joined with experts to carefully calculate the planting time, create plots, and create shapes to create a unique artistic painting "Carp watching the moon" in the middle of the winding and poetic Ngo Dong river.
