Visiting the Tan Uyên branch of the Social Insurance agency during the benefit payment period, we witnessed the dedication of the insurance staff. The staff guided people through everything from filling out information and verifying it against documents to using smartphones to log into VneID and conducting transactions via bank accounts. This helped reduce administrative procedures and save time for the people.

To increase public and business awareness of the Social Insurance Law, the Tan Uyen branch of the Social Insurance agency is intensifying its dissemination efforts through various methods, including: integrating it into conferences, community meetings, and village meetings; using banners and slogans; broadcasting through the public address system; and disseminating information through news articles posted on the provincial Social Insurance portal and the Tan Uyen branch's fanpage.

Upon arriving in villages, insurance officials also guide residents on installing and using electronic devices to access social insurance applications for information lookup and online public services, thereby reducing paperwork. Simultaneously, they help people gain knowledge and recognize online scams and impersonations of social insurance agencies. As a result, the rate of using social insurance, voluntary insurance, and health insurance is increasing, giving people and businesses peace of mind in their work and production.

Social insurance officials at the Tan Uyên branch always uphold a high sense of responsibility in their work.

Reportedly, in the first 10 months of 2025, the number of people participating in social insurance was 3,489, unemployment insurance was 1,965, and health insurance was 37,035, with total revenue reaching 90,068 million VND (achieving 80.3% of the provincial social insurance plan).

Mr. Lo Van Anh (Phieng Phat village, Tan Uyen commune) said: "I have had diabetes for many years. Every time I go for a check-up or get my medication regularly, I have to bring my health insurance card and related documents. Thanks to the social insurance officials who have promoted and guided me on using VneID and the chip-embedded citizen ID card, I can now look up a lot of information about my health insurance and medical history. As a result, going for check-ups is very convenient, and the payment process is quick and accurate."

Furthermore, the Tan Uyên local Social Insurance agency has handled social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits well, in accordance with regulations and procedures, ensuring the rights of the people, especially in cases of illness and maternity. Since the beginning of the year, 612 cases have been processed, with no backlog. In addition, the issuance of social insurance books and health insurance cards has been accelerated, with 10,616 books and cards issued.

The Tan Uyen branch of the Social Insurance agency has identified digital transformation as a breakthrough to improve operational efficiency and service quality. Therefore, the unit has implemented numerous digital transformation solutions, placing citizens at the center of all activities. To date, most administrative procedures are provided online at level 4, fully integrated on the Vietnam Social Insurance Public Service Portal and the National Public Service Portal, allowing citizens, workers, and businesses to transact anytime, anywhere. In particular, the VssID-Social Insurance digital application continues to play a crucial role in helping users conveniently look up information about social insurance and use online public services. To date, the unit has received and processed 5,850 applications. Simultaneously, it has promoted and encouraged social insurance beneficiaries to use cashless transactions, primarily through bank accounts, contributing to saving time and increasing work efficiency.

The Tan Uyên branch of the Social Insurance agency regularly organizes campaigns to raise awareness about social insurance.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thuong, Deputy Director of the Tan Uyen branch of the Social Insurance agency, said: In the coming time, the unit will continue to promote and encourage people to participate in social insurance; review and closely manage beneficiaries and effectively implement payment schemes; promote the application of information technology, reform administrative procedures, and survey the level of satisfaction of the people.
