The 11th EVN Pink Week in 2025

The program was attended by representatives from the Lai Chau Power Company; the Provincial Red Cross Society; representatives from various departments and agencies, along with a large number of officials, employees, youth union members, and volunteers from Tan Phong and Doan Ket wards.

Over the past period, Lai Chau Power Company has consistently maintained its blood donation movement and spread the beautiful tradition of "mutual support and compassion" of the nation. Specifically, the 2025 program attracted over 300 cadres, civil servants, employees, youth union members, and armed forces personnel to register for blood donation, including 150 from Lai Chau Power Company, 50 from the Provincial Youth Union, and 100 from the Ta Leng Commune Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee. The Organizing Committee expects to receive approximately 200 units of blood to supplement the blood bank for emergency and treatment purposes at medical facilities before the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

As part of the program, Lai Chau Power Company commended and awarded many individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the humanitarian blood donation movement for many consecutive years.

Comrade Quách Văn Biên - Deputy Director of Lai Châu Power Company, delivered a speech at the program.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Quach Van Bien, Deputy Director of Lai Chau Power Company, emphasized: “The Vietnamese people have a tradition of mutual support and compassion, and this tradition is always continued by the younger generation of the power industry through practical actions. Blood donation to save lives is a noble act, demonstrating the spirit of sharing for the community and for the sick, and we are ready to give our precious blood. This program is also a practical activity to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Power Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2025).”

Along with mobilization efforts, Lai Chau Power Company and its collaborating units are stepping up propaganda to raise awareness among power industry officials, civil servants, union members, armed forces personnel, and the general public about the humanitarian value of voluntary blood donation; encouraging everyone to actively participate in the movement during Tet and in response to the "11th EVN Blood Donation Week".

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received more than 220 units of blood. This achievement not only contributes to ensuring a blood supply for emergency care and treatment of patients but also demonstrates the social responsibility, sharing spirit, and cultural values of the staff and employees of Lai Chau Power Company in particular and the Vietnamese electricity industry in general.
