The cooperation agreement focuses on the following contents: Organizing the dissemination of new tax policies to all business households and enterprises in the four tax offices; providing consulting and guidance on registration, declaration, and issuance of electronic invoices; establishing a channel for receiving information, providing technical support, and quickly resolving issues for business households and enterprises in the province during the implementation period and maintaining a support team after implementation; assigning personnel to support the four tax offices, ensuring full and sufficient personnel to guarantee the best possible completion of assigned tasks.

VNPT is committed to providing preferential pricing policies for products such as: electronic invoicing software solutions generated from cash registers; sales management software for household businesses; digital signatures; point-of-sale equipment; electronic invoices, etc. We will establish operational teams and data compilation teams to promptly report relevant data as requested by the Lai Chau Provincial Tax Department.

At the signing ceremony, representatives from VNPT Lai Chau shared digital transformation solutions, data platforms, and telecommunications and information technology services that VNPT will provide to the Tax Department in the coming period.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between Lai Chau Provincial Tax Department and VNPT Lai Chau is an important basis for the two units to closely coordinate in implementing digital transformation, applying information technology, and enforcing new tax policies in accordance with the directive of the Provincial Tax Department on the implementation of Decision No. 3389, dated June 6, 2025, of the Minister of Finance approving the Project "Transformation of the model and method of tax management for business households when abolishing lump-sum tax" synchronously nationwide from January 1, 2026. This is a significant turning point in the process of modernization and transparency in tax management, aiming towards a digital finance and digital tax system, in line with international practices and the current development of the digital economy.
