Tan Hop is a commune in region 2 of Lao Cai province, ethnic minorities account for 83%, transportation is still difficult, the economy is mainly cinnamon growing and small-scale livestock farming...

Ms. Dang Thi Dinh - Vice President of the Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Women's Union of Tan Hop commune, said: "As a Dao ethnic, born and raised in a farming family, I understand the hardships of women in the commune. Most of the women are busy with cinnamon fields, making a living, and do not have the conditions to participate in the movements and activities of the association. Many people are still hesitant, shy, and do not clearly see the practical benefits for themselves and their families when participating in activities. Therefore, in the past, the rate of members participating in the Women's Union of the commune was still low, and the movement was not really vibrant."

With the motto "Where there are women, there is a movement", the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Tan Hop commune identifies the key task as innovating the content and methods of operation, building models to attract and gather members to participate in union activities .
