Athletes at the starting line

Mr. Mai Ba Hung, Head of the Vietnam Olympic Committee Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, said: "The tournament has grown in both scale and quality for the second time. Not only does it continue to maintain and develop long-distance running activities in Vietnam, but it also challenges the perseverance, willpower and strength of athletes, demonstrating the Olympic values of "Faster - Higher - Stronger - Together".

This tournament has more than 200 athletes participating, nearly double compared to 2023, the number of foreign athletes is also larger. In particular, in addition to the two familiar distances of 60 km and 100 km, there is also a relay team competition that attracts the attention and excitement of the teams. Many athletes have made great efforts to demonstrate team spirit and the desire to overcome themselves to conquer new heights."
