Assessing before the training trip, Coach Mai Duc Chung said: "The Vietnamese women's team has won the SEA Games 8 times and the Southeast Asian women's championship 3 times. Those proud achievements are the result of useful training sessions abroad, including in Japan, a country with developed football in Asia.
Japan has many good clubs and players for us to learn from. These training trips help athletes expand their knowledge and learn a lot. Therefore, it can be said that training in Japan is the best direct way for Vietnamese female players."
