This is a practical action to share development opportunities and create motivation to promote domestic supporting enterprises to develop together and successfully build Vietnam's high-tech automobile industry.
The announcement was made at the Conference on Strengthening Localization and Developing the Supplier System organized by VinFast , which gathered more than 1,000 leading enterprises operating in the field of industrial and supporting production in Vietnam. Of these, about 700 enterprises are existing partners of VinFast and more than 300 enterprises are potential partners looking for opportunities to participate in the company's global automobile production chain.
At the Conference, Ms. Thai Thi Thanh Hai - Vice President of Vingroup and Deputy General Director of VinFast Global shared VinFast's development plan and announced a series of attractive incentives and support policies for supply partners.
Accordingly, in terms of domestic ratio, VinFast aims to reach 80% by 2026. In terms of output, VinFast aims to produce up to more than 500,000 vehicles by 2027 and reach 1 million vehicles/year by 2030.
To meet the above strong growth demand and at the same time share development opportunities with Vietnamese enterprises, VinFast will expand its domestic supply chain, with special support conditions for domestic enterprises.
Specifically, VinFast will offer a 50% land rental fee discount for the first 3 years and 20% for the next 5 years for partners investing in building factories at two VinFast automobile manufacturing complexes in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh .
In addition to supporting the premises, VinFast commits to purchasing output products according to the plan agreed with partner businesses.
In addition, VinFast will also connect Vietnamese enterprises with foreign partners according to their needs. Through this, enterprises can receive technology and experience transfer, gradually improve their international competitiveness and proactively participate in the global supply chain.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Thai Thi Thanh Hai said: “VinFast wishes to share development and success opportunities with the domestic business community. Together, we will create strong internal strength and increase global competitiveness for the Vietnamese automobile industry.”
The Conference on Strengthening Localization and Developing the Supplier System organized by VinFast is the largest event ever for domestic suppliers.
