Synchronizing solutions to ensure a safe tourism environment

The City People's Committee has just issued a directive on strengthening the management of the tourism environment, ensuring security and safety for tourists in the city.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to synchronously deploy measures to manage the tourism environment; strengthen inspection, examination and handling of violations; improve service quality and ensure safety for tourists.

At the same time, continue to implement the Green Tourism Criteria Set and the "Da Nang Smile" Cultural Tourism Criteria Set at businesses and tourist areas and spots; promote the role of the Rapid Response Team and the Tourist Support Center in receiving feedback, providing information and handling situations for tourists.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Agriculture and Environment, City Police, Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Department of Education and Training, Department of Health, City Border Guard and City Inspectorate, based on assigned functions and tasks, to preside over and coordinate in proposing resources for investment in tourism infrastructure; effectively deploy the smart tourism system to serve the work of monitoring the tourism environment and ensuring tourist safety.

Inspect and strictly handle organizations and individuals violating regulations on environmental protection; guide units operating in forest areas and conservation areas to properly implement regulations on ecotourism, resorts and entertainment.

Strengthen state management of security and order in tourism activities; ensure traffic safety, fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue; handle acts of violating security and order, environmental violations, and taking advantage of tourism for illegal activities...

The City People's Committee requested the People's Committees of communes, wards and urban areas to proactively disseminate regulations on tourism environmental protection; implement the "Da Nang Smile" set of tourism culture criteria; strengthen inspection of price posting and service quality; handle the situation of advertising, soliciting, soliciting tourists, and disguised begging; ensure security and order at crowded places.

In addition, localities must set up hotlines and contact information for people and tourists to report incidents; review and add safety warning signs in high-risk areas; and inspect water recreation activities in accordance with regulations.

The City Tourism Association and organizations and individuals providing tourism services promote their role in connecting businesses, strictly implementing legal regulations, participating in environmental protection, and ensuring safety and security for tourists.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels are requested to coordinate in propagating and mobilizing members to participate in implementing the "Da Nang Smile" cultural tourism criteria set; building a civilized, friendly and sustainable tourism environment...
