(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of December 11, comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received a working delegation from Khammouane province, Lao PDR, led by comrade Van-xay Phong-savanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary, Governor of Khammouane province, on the occasion of the delegation's visit and signing of the agreement on the residential cluster on both sides of the border between Thuong Trach commune (Bo Trach) and Noong Ma village cluster, Bua-La Pha district.
Attending the reception were comrade Doan Ngoc Lam, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
In a friendly and open atmosphere, on behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Binh province, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang sent greetings and best wishes to the members of the delegation.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos and Quang Binh and Kham Muon provinces have achieved many positive results in all areas in recent times. Specifically, trade exchanges between the two provinces have been vibrant; the functional forces of the two provinces have actively and effectively coordinated in crime prevention and control, maintaining border security; the functional agencies of the two provinces have actively coordinated to build and complete the dossier to submit to UNESCO for recognition of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (Vietnam) and Hin Nam No National Park (Laos) as transboundary World Natural Heritage.

In the coming time, Quang Binh province will continue to make more efforts to promote the special relationship and cooperation between the two provinces in all fields; create conditions for businesses and people of the two provinces to exchange, trade, and cooperate in investment, focusing on border trade infrastructure and logistics. The two provinces will continue to promote and strengthen coordination and support to ensure border security. Quang Binh will increase exchange activities, support in culture, health,education , create conditions for people in the border area to visit relatives, and further strengthen the friendship.
