On the morning of October 16, at the Provincial Party Committee headquarters, Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee received Comrade Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam. Comrade Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang expressed his joy and informed Ambassador Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen about the province's development situation; at the same time, he said that he had many good impressions of the country and people of Cuba.
Sharing the difficulties that Cuba is having to overcome, the Provincial Party Secretary said that with the special affection and relationship between the two countries and peoples, Hai Duong is always ready to cooperate and share development experiences with Cuban localities, especially in the province's strong areas.
He hoped that Ambassador Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen would continue to be a bridge for Hai Duong and other Cuban localities to have more cooperative activities, support and make practical and effective contributions to fostering the traditional solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.
With sincere thanks to the special affection of Hai Duong province and the Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang, Comrade Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen hopes that Hai Duong will have many programs and activities, contributing to new steps in the friendly relations and development cooperation between the two countries, especially after the state visit of General Secretary and President To Lam to Cuba at the end of September.
