Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the National Day for National Security Protection in Yen Cuong commune.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan presented a portrait of Uncle Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap to the Party Committee, government and people of Yen Cuong commune.

Attending the festival were comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Police and a large number of cadres, party members and local people. This is a practical activity towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Yen Cuong is a particularly difficult commune, with 21 villages and a population of over 10,000 people; the Mong, Dao, and Tay ethnic groups make up the majority. In the first 7 months of 2025, the commune organized 59 legal dissemination sessions, attracting 7,841 people to participate. The police force and mass organizations coordinated 56 patrols; successfully resolved over 50 cases of conflicts and small disputes right at the grassroots level.

Currently, the whole commune maintains 21 self-management teams and 10 security and order models operating in villages, units and schools. The movement of the People to protect national security is increasingly going into depth, associated with the movements of building new rural areas, reducing poverty and preserving national cultural identity. Thanks to the joint efforts of the people, 100% of residential areas in the commune meet the standards of "Safe in security and order".

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to the collective of cadres and people of Yen Cuong commune for their outstanding achievements in the movement of All people protecting national security.

Speaking at the Festival, comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan acknowledged the achievements in the movement of the People to protect the national security of Yen Cuong commune in the past time. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee, government and people in the whole commune to raise awareness and the importance of the movement "People to protect national security"; innovate the content and form of propaganda in a practical direction, taking villages as the center, promoting the role of the people as the main subject and closely linking with patriotic emulation movements. Along with that, build and consolidate the force participating in protecting security and order in a strong and comprehensive manner; effectively prevent and combat all types of crimes, social evils and problems arising at the grassroots level.

At the Festival, the collective of cadres and people of Yen Cuong commune received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement of All people protecting national security; many collectives and individuals were rewarded for their achievements in the movement of All people protecting national security.
