Energizing and accepting the expansion of the feeder compartment at Thoai Son 110kV substation, part of the Tri Ton - Thoai Son 110kV transmission line project

The project started on September 15, 2023 with the scale of expanding the feeder at 2 existing stations: Tri Ton 110kV station and Thoai Son 110kV station, installing new protection, control and measurement equipment to further complete the above 2 110kV stations with a total investment of over 144 billion VND invested by commercial loans and basic depreciation capital of EVNSPC.

The project is assigned by the Southern Power Grid Project Management Board, a unit under EVNSPC, as the project management and operation unit. An Giang Power Company is the operation management unit. Southern Power Consulting Company is the design consultant unit. The joint venture between HBT Global Co., Ltd. and Hanoi Power Construction Joint Stock Company is the construction and installation unit.

With the goal of strengthening the power grid connection in the project area, creating a 110kV substation connection loop to ensure safe and reliable operation of the power system to serve the socio -economic development needs of An Giang province. The project's progress has been ensured and completed ahead of schedule, this is the continuous effort of EVNSPC in accelerating the progress of key projects, the project implementation process also has the contribution and support from many sides and units such as: Southern Power System Control Center (SSO), groups and individuals of An Giang Power Company, Southern Power Consulting Company, Southern Power Testing Company and construction contractors.

In particular, the enthusiastic support from authorities at all levels, departments, localities and local people has helped the project to be completed, put into operation and exploited on schedule.

At 12:40 p.m. the same day, the power-on procedure was completed.
