Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc and Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Khanh Hiep chaired the conference at An Giang province.

At the workshop, scientists , representatives of central and local ministries discussed, shared experiences and proposed creative ideas and solutions to assess the current situation and identify opportunities and challenges in the process of international cultural integration of Vietnam today. At the same time, deepening awareness of the role and importance of culture in the process of international integration, enhancing national position and promoting sustainable development, especially in the context of Vietnam facing a historic moment, preparing to enter a new era, the era of national development...

The project of internationalizing Vietnamese culture and Vietnamizing international culture aims to realize the aspiration of developing a prosperous and happy country, building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity; so that culture becomes an endogenous force for rapid and sustainable national development; and enhancing the country's position in the international arena. Thereby, actively contributing to helping Vietnam demonstrate its important role and position in human civilization.

The project also expects to reach new heights in artistic creativity, creating world-class works; forming cultural products and brands with global quality and competitiveness, accessing international markets, exporting cultural goods and services abroad.
