In mountainous areas with difficult transportation, supporting the transportation of construction materials not only helps families save costs, but also affirms the spirit of solidarity, realizing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. The family of Ms. Tung Phin Phan, Lao Chai village, Muong Khuong town, Muong Khuong district, was very happy when the women's union members in the village came to help with the labor to build the house. The women were responsible for transporting bricks and sand from the gathering place to Ms. Phan's house. Due to difficult transportation, the vehicle carrying the materials had to stop more than 1 km from Ms. Phan's house, and hiring someone to transport them would have been costly. Understanding the family's wishes, the Women's Union of Muong Khuong town directed the Women's Union of Lao Chai village to help Ms. Phan's family transport the materials. 30 women's union members, regardless of the rain and slippery roads, together carried each brick and sandbag in joy, giving Ms. Phan's family the strength to overcome difficulties to complete the project.
Ms. Lu Thi Cot, Head of the Lao Chai Village Women's Association, shared: Ms. Phan's family is in difficulty and has few people. With the desire to share the difficulties with the family, the women in the village came to help with the labor. We are very happy to contribute a little, joining hands to help Ms. Phan's family have a new, spacious place to live.
In the village, whenever a family has a problem, Ms. Phan enthusiastically helps, but this time, the family is building a house and has received a lot of help, but she is shy. Ms. Phan expressed: The sisters came early in the morning, regardless of the difficulties due to the rain and slippery roads, to help the family transport all the materials to build the house. I thank the women's association as well as the government and organizations for supporting the family to remove the temporary and dilapidated house.

Today, the road leading to Ms. Tan Ta May's house in Sim San 1 village, Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district is as joyful as a festival. Each woman drives a motorbike, carrying heavy bags of bricks on the saddle, but no one feels tired. The road ahead is bumpy and rough, but they try to hold the wheel firmly to transport materials to Ms. May's house. Ms. Tan Ta May's family is a poor household, and was affected by storm No. 3, so they had to move to a new place. With financial support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses, Ms. May was motivated to build a new, spacious and safe house. Her happiness was even more multiplied when she received help with the labor of transporting materials from the women in the village. Ms. Tan Ta May shared: I am very touched to receive such valuable help. After settling down, my family will try to develop the economy to be worthy of everyone's help and support.
Along with the Women's Union, in recent times, Bat Xat youth have also actively participated in helping local people eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. In addition to mobilizing resources to help eliminate more than 30 temporary and dilapidated houses in the communes of Den Thang, Sang Ma Sao, Nam Pung, Y Ty, A Lu, A Mu Sung... Bat Xat District Youth Union also mobilized a large number of local youth union members to contribute working days to transport construction materials to households. Recently, in just 2 days, 75 youth union members transported more than 10,000 bricks, 25 cubic meters of sand, and 5 tons of cement to help 4 households in Den Thang commune build houses. The youth of local youth union members has spread the spirit of volunteerism and solidarity to help households facing housing difficulties.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Secretary of Bat Xat District Youth Union, said: Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is a major policy of the Party, State and locality. In recent times, Bat Xat youth have mobilized social resources to join hands to help households eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. In addition, local youth union members have also volunteered to go to villages and hamlets in mountainous and disadvantaged areas to help people transport construction materials. Each volunteer program contributes to spreading the spirit of solidarity and contributing to the youth's efforts to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in highland villages and ethnic minority areas is many times more difficult than in lowland areas, because costs may increase due to inconvenient transportation. Many houses are in remote locations, and vehicles transporting materials cannot reach them, so the community's support is needed. At this time, the spirit of solidarity is promoted to become a strength to help the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses to be completed on schedule, so that more and more families can live in solid and safe houses, thereby having more motivation to strive to build a rich and beautiful homeland.
