The Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam region 2025 has 310 contestants from many provinces and cities participating such as: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Lao Cai, Hai Duong, Da Nang, Nghe An...
The festival also attracted the participation of many international contestants from China, the US, the UK, Singapore, Korea, India...
Participating in the Festival, contestants compete in many subjects such as: Piano, violin, cello, vocals, guitar, traditional musical instruments... in professional and amateur categories.
At the 2025 Hong Kong International Music Festival Vietnam Awards Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding contestants. In the amateur category, there was 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, and 1 Third Prize; in the professional category, there was 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, and 1 Third Prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to outstanding contestants in musical instrument groups.
Contestant Nguyen Duc Minh, Lao Cai province, excellently won the Gold Medal in Piano in the amateur category.
The Hong Kong International Music Festival is an international cultural exchange programme sponsored by the Hong Kong Government. Through various artistic activities, the event has attracted many local and international musical talents to participate, thereby promoting musical exchanges and contributing to the development of international music culture in the Asian region.
It is known that in 2024, Nguyen Duc Minh also won the Gold Medal (Amateur Category) in Piano at the China - Singapore International Music Competition - Zhongsin International Music Competition held at the Vietnam National Academy of Music (photo above ).
