Up to now, Dong Hoa Town has completed and put into use 46 houses for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025; including 39 new houses and 7 houses repaired for 10 poor households and 36 near-poor households. The total budget to support the elimination of temporary houses in the town is more than 2.5 billion VND, of which the budget from the 5% state budget savings is more than 1.3 billion VND, the Fund for the Poor of the town is 200 million VND and mobilized support from Phu Yen Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. is 1 billion VND.
In addition to the support budget of 60 million VND/household to build new houses and 30 million VND/household to repair houses according to regulations, Dong Hoa Town has called on organizations and individuals to contribute funds, working days and 358,800 bricks to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people in the town. Thanks to that, Dong Hoa Town is one of four localities in the province to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025 ahead of schedule.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Dong Hoa Town awarded 10 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.
