After the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units, Dong Nai will have a surplus of more than 1,900 civil servants and public employees.

Personnel arrangement will be carried out under the guidance of competent authorities, based on actual conditions and staff capacity.

For those holding the positions of heads of specialized agencies, the Standing Committee and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province will consider and decide on personnel suitable to the requirements of the unit after the arrangement. If they do not continue to hold the old position, the cadre can be arranged in a lower position, equivalent position at another agency or transferred to become a commune-level leader. In these cases, the position allowance regime is still reserved according to regulations.

Dong Nai also proposed solutions to solve employment for redundant cadres, civil servants and public employees after the merger. Accordingly, the province will support connection, consultation and job referral. Corporations and state-owned enterprises are encouraged to prioritize recruiting competent staff, if there is a need.

At the same time, the province will connect with private enterprises to seek job opportunities for officials, civil servants and public employees who are no longer working in the political system.
