Dong Nai: Proposal to build a billion-dollar road connecting Trang Dai - Tan Hiep wards

Currently, many roads connecting densely populated wards in Bien Hoa ( Dong Nai ) are overloaded. Therefore, the city and ward have proposed to restart inter-ward roads to make it easier for people to travel.

On March 7, according to news from Bien Hoa City, the locality is proposing that the People's Committee of Dong Nai province approve the policy of using the provincial budget to restart the project to build the Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong inter-ward road.

Because in reality, many roads in this area are currently overloaded, constantly congested and at risk of traffic safety loss.

The roads with intersections are narrow compared to the number of residents in the area.

According to local leaders, the investment in the Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong inter-ward road will help reduce traffic congestion in Trang Dai ward and neighboring wards. In particular, the gateway to the southern provinces on Nguyen Ai Quoc street (parallel to National Highway 1A) will also be cleared and less congested.

In reality, to circulate in and out of Trang Dai ward, there are 3 main gateways which are the intersections between Bui Trong Nghia and Nguyen Van Tien streets with Dong Khoi streets and Nguyen Phuc Chu streets with Nguyen Ai Quoc streets.

But now, due to the large population and heavy traffic, these locations are seriously congested. The reporter tried to travel in the direction of Nguyen Phuc Chu to Nguyen Ai Quoc and Bui Trong Nghia to Dong Khoi, calculating that there were times when it took 30 minutes or more to leave the ward.

In addition, many inner-ward roads such as Nguyen Khuyen, Nguyen Phuc Chu, Bui Huu Nghia, Nguyen Thai Hoc are becoming increasingly overloaded. Some roads are seriously degraded and damaged.

Nguyen Khuyen Street is also quite narrow.

The People's Committee of Trang Dai Ward and Bien Hoa City has just proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to approve investment from the provincial budget for the project to build the Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong inter-ward road to reduce the current traffic pressure through the Tan Phong and Tan Hiep intersections.

The locality also proposed exploiting about 26 hectares of land in Tan Phong ward adjacent to this road to enhance infrastructure development in the area.

According to Bien Hoa City People's Committee, the Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong inter-ward route has 2 sections including the Trang Dai - Tan Hiep route, about 2.62km long, and the Trang Dai - Tan Phong route, about 1.6km long.

It is known that about 8 years ago, Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong ward had a policy to implement it but due to some problems, it was stuck.

At that time, according to preliminary calculations and determination of investment efficiency, the Provincial People's Committee proposed to approve the investment policy using provincial budget capital with a total investment of about 1,000 billion VND.
