On June 10, at the 28th session (special session), delegates of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council voted to approve the resolution on the task of planning the construction zoning at a scale of 1/2000 for the functional area on top of Chua Chan mountain (Xuan Loc district).
Chua Chan mountain area is planned with a scale of about 250 hectares.
According to Dong Nai province, the approval of the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan for the functional area on top of Chua Chan mountain is the legal basis for planning and project implementation, contributing significantly to the province's economic growth target.
At the same time, develop Chua Chan mountain area to become a unique tourist center of culture, spirituality, entertainment and eco-tourism. Synchronously build commercial functions, tourism accommodation, high-class resorts to serve scientific research tourism activities, nature, ecological environment... to attract and develop tourism. Besides, preserve and embellish historical and cultural relics.
Chua Chan Mountain is located in the communes of Xuan Tho, Xuan Truong, Suoi Cat, Xuan Hiep and Gia Ray town in Xuan Loc district. It is the first historical relic - scenic spot of Dong Nai province ranked and recognized by the Provincial People's Committee.
In 2012, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a decision to rank Chua Chan Mountain as a national scenic relic. This is one of 31 relics of Dong Nai province ranked at the national level by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Chua Chan mountain area has four streams flowing down from the top of the mountain: Gia Ui, Gia Mien, Gia Lieu, Gia Lao.
There is a rich flora, many caves, and many stories associated with the relic site. In particular, the long-standing existence and development of the Cho Ro ethnic group (indigenous people) has preserved unique cultural features. These factors are favorable conditions for the development of ecotourism as well as for exploring and experiencing activities.
According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, exploiting natural landscapes combined with visiting historical sites, pagodas and temples on Chua Chan mountain needs to attract investment in tourism types such as cable cars, sports competitions... to increase attraction for tourists.
This is also one of the key projects and works of Dong Nai province.
The second highest mountain in the Southeast
Chua Chan Mountain (also known as Gia Lao Mountain, in Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai) is 837m above sea level, located about 100km from Ho Chi Minh City. This is considered the "roof" of Dong Nai Province and is the second highest mountain in the Southeast, after Ba Den Mountain - Tay Ninh.
Chua Chan Mountain is currently an attractive tourist destination attracting tens of thousands of visitors to explore and experience. Highlights include cable car rides, mountain climbing, camping, parachuting, etc.
