According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, the movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in Dong Nai province has a particularly important meaning, demonstrating the responsibility and morality of "Repaying gratitude", "Love others as you love yourself", contributing to bringing shelter to those with merit, the poor, and the disadvantaged.

According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, in addition to the achieved results, the province still has many families living in temporary, degraded houses that are not safe, especially during the rainy and stormy season. Based on that reality, Dong Nai launched the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" with the highest determination that by the end of April 2025, no poor households, near-poor households, or policy families will have to live in temporary or dilapidated houses. In the condition that the province cannot allocate 100% of the state budget, the province calls on all levels, sectors, localities, enterprises, philanthropists and the whole society to join hands to care for the poor, promote the spirit of mutual love, sharing food and clothes; those who have little contribute little, those who have much contribute much, those who have property help property, those who have merit help merit; even the smallest contributions are all valuable.
