Visiting Buddha's relics: good organization, favorable weather

The temple officially opens at 7am to welcome people to worship, but from 5am people have started lining up according to the organizers' instructions to be the earliest to worship Buddha's relics.

A section of Quan Su Street in front of Quan Su Pagoda, from the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street to the intersection with Ly Thuong Kiet Street, was blocked.

People lined up one way from the Tran Hung Dao - Quan Su intersection in front of the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Palace to enter the pagoda to worship the relics.

Currently, this intersection is restricting traffic to construct the Nhon - Hanoi metro station underground station project, so it is very convenient to arrange for people to line up and go through security checks before entering Quan Su Pagoda.

Many people choose public transportation to go to the temple to worship the relics such as buses, technology-based motorbike taxis also contribute to better traffic.

Logistics were also carefully prepared with security forces, volunteers to guide and support people, and coffee shops along Ly Thuong Kiet Street near Quan Su Pagoda opening their doors for people to use the restrooms for free.

The organizers put up notice boards in many places so that people would be aware.

Since 7am, the line of people has been moving at a fairly fast and continuous speed, but because it is so crowded, the stream of people flows like a non-stop stream.

There are children and old people in wheelchairs.

There were men, women, and children of all ages coming to pay homage to the relics, with the elderly and women making up the majority. There were quite a few elderly people in wheelchairs being pushed by their children and grandchildren in line.

Because it was so crowded, some people had to wait in line for a long time, so sometimes there were people who needed quick and timely medical assistance.

Luckily the weather suddenly cooled down this morning so the people, Buddhists, organizers, and volunteers did not have too much trouble.

To ensure solemnity, respect and order, the hall where Buddha's relics are enshrined does not allow filming or photography.
