Dong Thap has 90 candidates admitted to military academies and schools.

DTO - According to the Military Admissions Board of Dong Thap province, in 2023, the whole province has 363 candidates applying for admission to military academies and schools, of which 90 candidates are admitted (an increase of 22 candidates compared to 2022). Localities with high numbers of admitted candidates include: Chau Thanh, Thap Muoi, Hong Ngu and Thanh Binh districts.

Leaders of Hong Ngu district met and presented gifts to candidates admitted to military academies and schools in 2023.

To achieve this result, the Military Admissions Boards of districts and cities have done a good job of propaganda and career guidance in various forms, such as: propaganda in the form of dramatization, printing flyers and sending them to high schools; coordinating with schools to organize propaganda under the flag, together with local political and social organizations to go to the homes of cadres' families with good and excellent children to register for the exam... so the number of candidates registering for the exam has increased every year.

From 2017 to present, Dong Thap has always been a leading locality of Military Region 9 in military recruitment, with 454 candidates admitted to military academies and schools.
