China has officially introduced the world's first emergency medical rescue drone - a breakthrough technological achievement that is expected to change the way humanity responds to disaster situations in harsh environments.
According to China's Science and Technology Daily , this special drone was developed by Haishen Medical Technology Company, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and many leading industrial partners.
A representative of Haishen Company said that the drone is integrated with a series of advanced medical functions such as respiratory support, intravenous infusion, vital signs monitoring, defibrillation and real-time online image monitoring.
This is not only a flying device, but also a mini medical center in the air, capable of providing first aid treatment on the spot.
Mr. Huang Yuhong - Chairman of Haishen Company - emphasized that the device can perform search and rescue missions with high precision in harsh environmental conditions: from rough seas, humidity and salinity to temperatures ranging from -25°C to 46°C, even at altitudes of up to 5,000m above sea level.
Weighing 600kg and carrying a payload of up to 300kg, the medical rescue drone can quickly transport patients to a safe treatment location.
In addition, the device also supports automatic flight along a preset route, hover mode and ground control, allowing rapid deployment in emergency situations such as natural disasters and epidemics.
"We have combined our core strengths in medical equipment and drone technology, with advanced artificial intelligence (AI), to create a breakthrough solution to enhance China's smart medical rescue capabilities," said Huang Yuhong.
