Vietnam National Team unexpectedly has an advantage in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup

The return match is scheduled to take place on October 14, 2025. According to the published schedule, the first leg between the two teams will be held at Binh Duong Stadium on October 9, 2025. Thus, the Vietnam National Team will not have to travel to Nepal, but will play both matches in October right on Vietnamese territory. This is considered an advantage in terms of travel, physical strength and preparation for Coach Kim Sang Sik and his team.

Thong Nhat Stadium will be the venue for the second leg match between Nepal and Vietnam in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
