Da Nang tourism affirms its growing attraction

Domestic and foreign tourists come to Da Nang on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 this year.

Along with that, the city's tourism industry strongly promotes the program "Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Multi-experience". In particular, April also marks the event when Da Nang welcomes the first direct flights from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, opening up opportunities to attract visitors from the Central Asian market and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), affirming the city's position on the international tourism map.

Along with these outstanding events, revenue from accommodation and catering services in the area in April 2025 is estimated at nearly VND 2,830 billion, up more than 6% over the previous month and up more than 27% over the same period last year. Of which, revenue from accommodation services is estimated at nearly VND 1,200 billion, up nearly 8% over the previous month and up 45.5% over the same period in 2024; revenue from catering services is estimated at VND 1,670 billion, up nearly 5% over the previous month and up more than 17% over the same period.

In the first 4 months of 2025, revenue from accommodation and catering services is estimated at over VND 10,250 billion, accounting for nearly 20% of total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue, up more than 23% over the same period last year. Of which, accommodation revenue in the first 4 months is estimated at nearly VND 4,100 billion, up more than 38%; revenue from catering services is estimated at nearly VND 6,200 billion, up nearly 15% over the same period.

Thanks to strong promotional activities, diverse tourism products and the recovery of the international market, the city's tourism industry recorded impressive growth in the number of guests staying. The total number of guests served by accommodation establishments in April was nearly 1 million, up nearly 4% over the previous month and up 16.3% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international guests were nearly 450,000, up 2.4% and more than 40% respectively; domestic guests were nearly 550,000, up nearly 5% and 1.6% respectively.

In the first 4 months of 2025, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at 3.5 million, an increase of nearly 19% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 1.7 million, an increase of 43%; domestic visitors are estimated at 1.8 million, an increase of 2.2% over the same period in 2024. This result clearly reflects the effectiveness of the promotion and market expansion strategy, affirming the growing attraction of Da Nang as an international and domestic tourism center in the Central region.

The number of overnight guests in the past 4 months is estimated at more than 3 million, an increase of more than 32% over the same period in 2024, of which international overnight guests are estimated at 1.7 million, an increase of 43%. The average number of overnight guests in the past 4 months is 1.8 days/visit, of which international guests are 1.95 days/visit; domestic guests are 1.6 days/visit (same period in 2024: 1.52 days/visit for general guests; 1.92 days/visit for international guests and 1.09 days/visit for domestic guests).
