Da Nang tourism earns over 2,400 billion VND on the occasion of April 30 - May 1

(QNO) - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, during the 5-day holiday (from April 30 to May 4), the total number of visitors and tourists to the city is estimated at 610 thousand, with total tourism revenue estimated at 2,426 billion VND.

Both the number of visitors, tourists and tourism revenue in Da Nang during this time increased by more than 50% compared to the same period. Overnight visitors reached more than 230 thousand, with about 105 thousand international visitors (up 44% compared to the same period).

During the holiday, there were 654 flights to Da Nang, an increase of about 12% compared to normal days. International flights alone reached 261. In addition, Da Nang welcomed thousands of tourists by sea and train during the holiday.

The average room occupancy rate in the city is 85%. From April 30 to May 2, many accommodation facilities were fully booked, including some areas far from the city center such as Nguyen Tat Thanh beach or eco-tourism areas in Hoa Vang district...

Tourist attractions in Da Nang City such as: Da Nang Museum, Sun World Ba Na Hills, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, beaches and Son Tra Peninsula...

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Da Nang organized more than 30 cultural - artistic, tourism, physical training - sports activities and events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, along with summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification to serve the people and tourists.
