Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh Nguyen Lam Nguyen said that the province continues to research and implement new tourism projects; promote tourism development and night-time economy to diversify products and services for tourists; extend the length of stay, and promote the number of tourists in and outside the province.
As of mid-November 2025, the total number of tourists to Quang Ninh reached 21.28 million, an increase of 12% over the same period; tourism revenue reached at least VND 57,000 billion, an increase of 22.46% over the same period.
Thus, Quang Ninh has completed the target of welcoming over 21 million visitors set in 2025 and continues to aim for total tourism revenue of VND58,000 billion.
To achieve the above goal, in recent times, the tourism industry has continuously “renewed” with many new products and experiences. Typical are two concert programs with the themes “Ha Long 2025 - Heritage Spirit, Bright Future” and “Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land”, attracting more than 61,000 people and tourists.
The series of events has brought a new breeze to Quang Ninh tourism in the fourth quarter - the time considered the low point of the tourist season.
In the last months of the year, the province promoted cultural and sports activities such as the Film Week "Quang Ninh Mining Region - Imprints and Aspirations", exhibition of achievements in socio-economic development of Quang Ninh province in 5 years (2020-2025), Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Autumn Winter 2025, Exhibition of regional specialties of Quang Ninh Autumn 2025, Quang Ninh Culinary Festival... contributing to attracting a large number of people and tourists, improving the spiritual life of the people, promoting the consumption of tourism products and services and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic groups.
Previously, the Quang Ninh tourism industry introduced a number of new products to serve tourists such as live performance art programs combined with cuisine, cave tours in Cam Pha ward; organizing fireworks displays every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Ha Long food tour; water music program in Bai Chay...
The restart of the Beihai (China)-Ha Long cruise route is expected to bring nine cruise ships from this route bringing international visitors to Quang Ninh province during the 2025-2026 cruise season (from October 2025 to April 2026).
From now until the end of 2025, Quang Ninh plans to organize many large-scale events. Notably, the ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex as a World Cultural Heritage will take place on December 20 at Minh Tam Square (Yen Tu Monuments and Landscape Complex) with about 15,000 people attending.
In addition, the Countdown 2026 event at 30/10 Square (Ha Long Ward) is expected to attract nearly 50,000 people. Quang Ninh continues to maintain its position as one of the top destinations in Vietnam, ready to enter a new development phase with many breakthrough opportunities.
