Quang Ninh island tourism attracts visitors during the holiday season

Anticipating a sharp increase in the number of tourists visiting the islands during the holidays, Ao Tien High-class Port and relevant authorities have proactively implemented many solutions to enhance transport capacity and traffic coordination, ensuring safety and convenience for tourists.

The number of trips to the islands is increased daily, and the schedule is flexibly adjusted according to passenger traffic. At the same time, local authorities coordinate with shipping companies to implement safety measures, control train tickets and service prices, and avoid overloading or profiteering.

Phuong Dong Beach, Van Don welcomed a sharp increase in visitors during the first days of the holiday.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: “My family has been to Van Don many times, but each time it feels new. The marine environment is cared for and cleaner, the service is good, the people here are friendly and hospitable. This year's holiday, my family still chooses Van Don as a destination to relax, experience and explore the beautiful scenery here.”

During the holidays, motels and hotels on the islands of Van Don and Co To districts are operating at full capacity; tourist attractions such as Minh Chau, Quan Lan, Son Hao, Eo Gio Quan Lan beaches, Cai Bau Pagoda of Van Don district, Hong Van, Van Chay, and Co To Con beaches of Co To island district always welcome a large number of visitors.

Although the number of tourists flocking to the islands of Van Don and Co To districts increased dramatically during the holidays, local authorities and tourism businesses have been proactive and had flexible plans, ensuring political security and traffic safety and order, preventing price increases, "rip-offs" or overloading at destinations.

This is also an opportunity for the Quang Ninh tourism industry to achieve the goal of welcoming 20 million tourists, including more than 4.5 million international visitors, in 2025.
