Mother worries more about her child's exam than giving birth
The mother of candidate Anh Duy - a candidate taking the exam at Cau Giay High School, Hanoi - shared this morning (June 6).
Duy said he had studied quite a bit so he felt quite relaxed this morning. “I found that compared to last year, this year’s mock test had more questions applying to life.
In particular, the text material is also taken from outside the textbook, which is both interesting and difficult because the test questions may include works that are too unfamiliar," Duy said.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Duy's mother said that this is the first year her children take the exam according to the new generaleducation program, so many parents are quite worried. In particular, the competition rate is high, the opportunity to enter the favorite public school is quite difficult, so taking her child to the exam, she is more nervous and worried than when giving birth.

This morning, Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, led a delegation to inspect the 10th grade high school exam at a number of schools in the city.
At the exam sites of Cau Giay High School and Yen Hoa High School, preparations have been completed. The schools have arranged backup generators, medical rooms and document boxes outside the exam sites for candidates according to room numbers.
At Cau Giay High School exam site, there are 528 candidates in 22 exam rooms, 2 waiting rooms and 2 backup exam rooms.
This testing site has 75 teachers in the council, including 48 supervisors. The testing site has arranged computers, printers, a room to store test papers with surveillance cameras, and a full backup generator...
Meanwhile, Tran Ngan Ha, a candidate taking the exam at Cau Giay High School, said that she couldn’t sleep last night because she was so nervous. This morning, she woke up early to go to the exam site when the schoolyard was still deserted. “I think preparing knowledge is one thing, but the most important thing is to stay calm when entering the exam room,” Ngan Ha said.

Candidates just need to focus on doing their best on the test.
At the Yen Hoa High School exam site, students were surprised when the Director of Education and Training came to encourage the candidates before the procedure with the message: "It is natural to be worried before the exam, but don't let that weigh you down. You just need to focus on doing the exam to get the best results, the teachers will take care of all the preparation work," said the Director of the Department.
Yen Hoa High School exam site has 530 candidates in 23 exam rooms. Sharing with teachers working as exam supervisors here, Mr. Cuong reminded them to be careful, because sometimes due to the heat and fatigue, the invigilators may have inappropriate behavior or words that affect the entire exam site, even the entire education sector, which is not advisable. Teachers work very hard but that does not mean they put pressure on candidates," said Mr. Cuong.
According to the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, this unit has discussed with the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Buddhist Sangha to open some pagodas near schools for parents to rest while waiting for their children.
Many households even boil drinking water to offer parents on hot days.
This year’s 10th grade high school exam in Hanoi will take place on June 7-8 with 3 exams: math, literature, and foreign language. Math and literature will be essay-based (120 minutes), while foreign language will be multiple-choice (60 minutes).
