This morning, June 8, nearly 103,000 Hanoi candidates taking the 10th grade exam in 2025 will take the Math exam. The first year's Math exam is designed according to the new General Education Program, promising to have many differences.

Although it includes 5 questions, the Math exam for grade 10 in Hanoi will focus on 3 streams of knowledge, including: Numbers and Algebra; Geometry and Measurement; Statistics and Probability.
With that design, the Hanoi 10th grade entrance exam this year aims to evaluate 3 parts of candidates' abilities: Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning (3 points); Mathematical Problem Solving (4.5 points); Mathematical Modeling (2.5 points).
The total maximum score for this essay is 10 points.
According to the table of abilities and thinking levels in the 10th grade entrance exam sample published by the Departmentof Education and Training, the knowledge sections are divided into the following proportions:

The leader of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that this exam format structure is an important basis for building a question bank and creating exam questions for this year's 10th grade entrance exam.
