On the afternoon of October 29, the Hong Van Border Guard Station coordinated with functional forces to transport food to dozens of ethnic minority households isolated due to floods.
Accordingly, heavy rains in recent days and rising flood waters have isolated 26 households with 107 people in Ta Lo A Ho village (A Luoi 1 commune, Hue city).

Faced with the above situation, local authorities and officers and soldiers of the Hong Van Border Guard Station used ropes to transport hundreds of kilograms of rice, instant noodles and milk to households, temporarily overcoming the immediate difficulties.
Also in the evening of the same day, the authorities used ropes to supply rice, instant noodles and some necessities to the family of Mr. A Viet Doi (residing in A Roang 2 village, A Luoi 4 commune, Hue city) who was isolated and had run out of food reserves.

On the evening of October 29, rescue forces were still searching for missing people in Thanh Thuy ward, Hue city. Before that, two young men were walking towing a small boat across the rice fields on the old Duong Thanh street when the young man born in 2001 was swept away by the water. Currently, the search area is still deeply flooded, causing many difficulties for the work of approaching and searching for the victims.
It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the floodwaters in the rivers throughout Hue City will continue to rise, and floodwaters are still submerging tens of thousands of houses. Not only in low-lying and remote areas, but also in the center of Hue City, tens of thousands of houses are still submerged in water. On hundreds of roads in the center of Hue City, people have to travel by boat.
